About Us

We have been providing fun, adventure and challenge for countless young people in Luton since 1909!

About Us…

Luton comprises two Districts (Falkes and Icknield) and is part of a family of eight Scout Districts in Bedfordshire. The town has nineteen Scout Groups covering Marsh Farm and Sundon Park in the North, Farley Hill and Luton Hoo in the South, Stopsley in the East, Lewsey Farm in the West and most areas in between.

Our proud boast is that we have been providing fun, adventure and challenge for countless young people in Luton since 1909.

about

Scouting is open to everyone: we welcome new members from the age of six, with no upper age limit for our adult volunteers. Scouting is open to both boys and girls and it makes no difference what background you come from, what language you speak, or what religion you are – within Scouting there is a place for everyone.

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people and help them to reach their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. This website contains lots of useful information for both members and potential members. A warm welcome from Luton Scouts.
