Luton Scouts Founders Day Hike (Note: New Venue)

Date: 24th February 2019 Location: Heartwood Forest AL4 9DQ near Sandridge.
Luton Scouts Founders Day Hike. The venue for this year’s Founders Day Hike is Heartwood Forest, Sandridge, Herts., AL4 9DQ.

Date: Sunday 24th February 2019 starting at 9am finish around 12 noon.

The hike is around four miles long and is unsuitable for street buggies and children under five.

Car Parking: There is parking for 50 cars at the site and a small overflow park nearby.

Toilets: Toilets are available at Sandridge Village Hall

Refreshments: Bring refreshments with you since there are none on site. Nearby pubs cater for families.

What to wear: The route will be muddy so wear suitable waterproofs and footwear.

Jamboree collection: There will be a collection (£1.00 per head) for the Jamboree fund for the 14 Scouts from Luton who will be going to the World Scout Jamboree this year.
